Dr. Santiago García
Graduated as a Dentist in 1988 at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia with an Honor Diploma from the Javeriana U. as well as from the Escuela Colombiana de Medicina.
At Tufts University, Boston, Massachussets, he completed the course on Dental Laboratory 1989-1990. Graduated as well with a degree in Prosthodontics ( Oral Rehabilitation ), 1990-1993, Fellow in Maxilofacial Prosthesis in 1993, Fellow in Implants in 1994.
At the same university he conducted the Maxilofacial Prosthesis department and the General Dentistry residents. He has been involved with teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level at Javeriana University; currently an active member of the Colombian Society of Prosthodontics and Periodontics, American Academy of Maxilofacial Prosthesis and the American Academy of Osseointegration.
Currently active as Scientific Director of SGD Laboratories, member of IWC in Bego, Germany and of the Zimmer Circle od Dental preferred laboratories. Lectures abroad in USA, Spain,Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Panama, Guatemala, El Salvador, Ecuador,
Colombia and at Zimmer Dental International meetings. Is invited lecturer at several Colombian universiities and opinión leader for 3M, Vita, Ivoclar, and Zimmer dental.
